    4 PERSON TEAM EVENT FORMAT

Is anyone else wondering why the third game in the 4 person team event changed from 301 di/do to 501 oi/oo???  I know that we are not playing that game in league any longer, but it is still a valuable and skilled game.  I think it should be put back in the format.   What do you all think?

I think it would be beneficial to have it back in. I realize people may have problems hitting doubles, but if you practice, something you must be adept at is hitting doubles. Because you can not always count on having a triple to hit to win. If there is really a big problem hitting a double to get in, then just go to 'Double-Out'. If you want to become a better dart thrower, you must be able to hit everything that is on the board. Not just triples and singles.

I don't like 301 of any kind for a four player match. 501 oi/do is good or even 501 freeze with two players on each score, ala Vegas team 501 final game.

I think 501 oi/do would be good or even freeze. 301 does suck, a few good darts and the game is over and you are left wondering what just happened.
